Last updated: 28 June 2026
These Terms are the agreement between you and Zuro Ltd ("Zuro", "we", "us", "our") for your use of the Zuro app and website (the "Service"). By creating an account or using Zuro, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

Who can use Zuro
To use Zuro you must be at least 16 years old, live in the United Kingdom, have the right to connect any bank account you link, and give us accurate information.
If you're 16 or 17: you can use Zuro, but we usually need a parent or guardian to give consent and be involved when you set up your account, particularly before you connect a bank account. By using Zuro at 16 or 17, you confirm a parent or guardian has agreed to these Terms where we've asked for that.
What Zuro is — and what it isn't
Zuro is a financial information and budgeting tool. We help you see your money clearly, build budgets, set goals, and get general, AI-powered information about your finances. Zuro is not a bank, not a payment service, and not regulated financial advice. Nothing in the app is a personal recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any financial product.
Zuro is NOT a bank. We don't hold your money and never will. We aren't a bank, building society, or electronic money institution.
Zuro is NOT a payment service. We don't move, send, or hold your funds. When you connect a bank account, our access is read-only — we can see information but cannot make payments.
Zuro is NOT regulated financial advice. Zuro gives you general information and tools to understand your own money. We are not authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority to give financial advice. For decisions that really matter — big financial choices, debt problems, investments, tax — speak to a qualified, regulated professional.
Our AI features are helpful but can sometimes be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. Please don't rely on them for important decisions without checking the facts.
Your account
You agree to:
- Give accurate, up-to-date information
- Keep your login details secure and not share them
- Tell us as soon as possible if you think someone else has accessed your account
- Take responsibility for what happens on your account
Connecting your bank account
If you connect a bank account, you do so through our FCA-authorised Open Banking provider. You authorise read-only access to the information you select. We cannot move money or change anything in your account, and you can disconnect any time — in Zuro, through our provider, or with your bank.
Zuro Plus and payments
Some features are free; some are part of a paid plan such as Zuro Plus.
- Price and billing: paid plans are billed at the price shown in the app (currently £4.99 per month) through our payment provider, Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us (via Stripe) to charge you on a recurring basis until you cancel.
- Cancelling: you can cancel any time in the app. Your paid features continue until the end of the billing period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again after that.
- Your cancellation rights: as a consumer, you may have a legal right to cancel within a short period after subscribing. We'll explain how this works at the point you subscribe.
- Price changes: if we change the price, we'll give you advance notice and you can cancel if you don't want to continue.
Using Zuro responsibly
You agree not to:
- Use Zuro for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful
- Try to access accounts or data that aren't yours
- Break, hack, overload, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Service
- Copy, scrape, or resell any part of it
- Upload anything harmful or misuse our AI features
- Pretend to be someone else
If you break these rules, we may suspend or close your account.
Who owns what
Zuro — including the app, website, brand, logo, design, content, and software — belongs to Zuro Ltd (or our licensors). We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own personal use, as long as you follow these Terms. Anything you create or input stays yours, but you give us permission to use it as needed to provide and improve the Service.
The Service is provided "as is"
We work hard to keep Zuro running well, but we provide the Service "as is" and "as available". We can't promise it will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free, or that the information and AI outputs are always accurate or suitable for your situation. We may change, suspend, or remove features from time to time. Nothing here removes any rights you have under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, such as that a service should be carried out with reasonable care and skill.
Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that can't be limited or excluded under the law.
Subject to that, and to the extent the law allows:
- We're not responsible for losses that weren't reasonably foreseeable, or that weren't caused by us breaking these Terms or being negligent.
- We're not responsible for financial decisions you make based on information or AI outputs from Zuro — these are tools to inform you, not advice to act on.
- We're not responsible for problems caused by third parties (such as your bank, our Open Banking provider, Stripe, or your internet connection), things outside our reasonable control, or your own failure to keep your account secure.
- Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the issue arose, or (b) £100.
Ending these Terms
You can stop using Zuro and close your account any time. We may suspend or close your account if you break these Terms, if we're required to by law, or if we stop providing the Service — and where it's reasonable and lawful, we'll give you notice.
Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes to these Terms, we'll give you reasonable notice before they take effect. If you keep using Zuro after that, you're agreeing to the updated Terms; if you don't agree, you can close your account.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also be able to bring proceedings in your local courts.
Contact and complaints
If something's wrong, please tell us — we'll do our best to sort it out quickly and fairly.
