Cookie Policy
Last updated: 28 June 2026
This policy explains how Zuro (provided by Zuro Ltd) uses cookies and similar technologies, what they're for, and how you can control them. It works alongside our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website or app stores on your device. They help things work — like keeping you logged in or remembering your settings. "Similar technologies" means other tools that do comparable jobs, such as pixels, tags, and local storage. For simplicity, we'll just say "cookies" to mean all of these.
The cookies we use
Strictly necessary cookies (always on)
These are essential — Zuro won't work properly without them. They keep you logged in, keep your session secure, and remember your place in the app. Because they're essential, we don't need your consent for these, but we're telling you about them here.
Functional / preference cookies
These remember your choices and settings, like your display preferences, to make Zuro nicer to use. We give you clear information about these and a simple way to opt out.
Analytics / statistical cookies
These help us understand how people use Zuro — which features are popular — so we can improve it. We use these solely to gather aggregate statistics; we don't use them for advertising, profiling, or tracking you across other sites. You can use Zuro without these, and we give you an easy, free way to opt out at any time.
Advertising cookies
We don't use advertising or marketing cookies. If that ever changes, we will ask for your clear opt-in consent first, and you'll be able to withdraw it just as easily.
The specific cookies we use

| Google Analytics (_ga, _gid) | Analytics | Aggregate usage statistics — which pages and features are used | Up to 2 years | |
| Microsoft Clarity (_clck, _clsk) | Microsoft | Analytics | Aggregate session insights to help us improve the experience | Up to 1 year |
| Stripe payment cookies | Stripe | Strictly necessary | Secure payments and fraud prevention at checkout | Per Stripe policy |
| Plaid cookies | Plaid | Strictly necessary | Supports the secure bank-connection flow | Per Plaid policy |
Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by trusted providers we use to run Zuro — for example Stripe (secure payments and fraud prevention) and our Open Banking provider (the secure bank connection). These providers have their own privacy and cookie information, linked from our Privacy Policy.
How we ask for your consent
For any cookie that needs your consent, we ask before we set it, and those cookies are switched off by default until you choose to turn them on. Saying "no" is just as easy as saying "yes" — no tricks, no pre-ticked boxes — and you can change your mind any time.
How to manage your cookies
You're in control. You can:
- Use your browser settings to block or delete cookies (though blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of Zuro from working)
- Opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
- Opt out of Microsoft Clarity at privacy.microsoft.com
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if our use of cookies changes or the law changes. The "last updated" date at the top shows when we last changed it.
