Your confusion is their business model.

Banks earn when you slip — overdraft fees, buried charges, jargon on purpose. Zuro is the other side: your payslip decoded, bills tracked, credit explained, and what's actually safe to spend — in plain English, before payday.

The problem

Money gets confusing fast.

Your bank shows the balance. It does not always explain what is actually happening.

Your payslip makes no sense

The stand

We're not a bank. That's the point.

Banks profit when money stays confusing — overdraft fees, buried charges, jargon nobody explains. Zuro has no overdraft to sell you, no card to push, and none of your money to earn interest on. It only works when you understand your money. That puts us on exactly one side of the table: yours.

No credit to sell you

We never profit when you borrow — so we will never nudge you towards debt.

None of your money held

We don't hold deposits, so your slip-ups earn us nothing. Confusion only pays them.

Everything explained

Every deduction, every charge, every score move — in plain English, or it doesn't ship.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Everything you want to know before you sign up.

No. Zuro is a money clarity app, not a bank. We don't hold your money, issue accounts, or give regulated financial advice. We explain your payslip, credit, and spending in plain English so you can make better decisions.

You upload a photo or PDF of your payslip. Our AI (GPT-4o) reads every line — gross pay, tax, National Insurance, pension, student loan — and gives you a plain-English explanation of what each deduction actually means and why it exists. Free users get 3 decodes per month. Zuro Plus users get unlimited.

Yes. Payslip images are sent to OpenAI for analysis and are not stored by them beyond the request. We store only the decoded results in your account, encrypted at rest via Supabase. We never sell your data.

With your permission, Zuro connects to your real bank via a regulated Open Banking provider to read your account balance and recent transactions — read-only, we can never move money. We're finishing our provider's production approval, so bank connection is launching soon. In the meantime, the Payslip Decoder and Student Finance Calculator work fully today, no bank connection needed.

The free plan includes 3 payslip decodes per month, credit score tracking, the safe-to-spend calculator, bill tracker, and basic AI insights. Everything you need to get started understanding your money.

Plus unlocks unlimited payslip decodes, the full Financial Twin, AI Money Assistant, Credit Trajectory, Money Quests & Boss Battles, Spend Wrapped, and data export. Open Banking connection, Subscription Graveyard and Squad Finance are launching soon, once bank connection goes live. It's £6.99/month or £59.99/year.

Yes. Cancel any time from your billing settings — no notice period, no hidden fees. You keep access until the end of the billing period you've already paid for.

The payslip decoder is built for PAYE employees, but the budgeting tools, credit tracker, and AI assistant work for everyone. Self-employed support with SA302 and tax estimates is on the roadmap.

Our Open Banking provider supports most major UK banks including Barclays, Lloyds, HSBC, NatWest, Monzo, Starling, Revolut, and more. Bank connection is launching soon while we finish production approval — you'll see the full list when it goes live.

The Financial Twin is an AI model of your finances. Feed it your payslip and bank data and it simulates decisions — 'what happens if I take this job offer?', 'can I afford this flat?', 'what if I start saving £200/month?' — before you commit to them.
